Otteri is located within the vicinity of the city of Chennai and many Pentecostal churches were established there. In the year 1970, True Jesus Church Pammal Centre workers evangelised into Otteri. After a period of evangelism, 25 people believed and were baptized. As such, the Prayer House in Otteri was established and services were conducted at the residence of a late Bro. Ranganathan.

真耶穌教會國際聯合總會，差派工人往這新的地區作宣牧事工。當時有許多人願意加入這個團契。

International Assembly of the True Jesus Church sent missionaries there to minister to the work in this new area. Many people were willing to join in the Fellowship.

會眾數目增加後，在1982年由已故Ranganathan弟兄奉獻他們的土地作為建設教會的預定地，聯總也決定投入資金協助，興建教會的計畫就此展開。

As the congregation grew large, in the year 1982, the late Bro. Ranganathan offered up their land for church construction. International Assembly decided to send funds for the construction. The church building project commenced.

感謝神的恩典，Otteri教會在1983年舉行獻堂典禮。Pammal中心也繼續派遣工人來協助這地方的聖工。

In the year 1983, by the grace of our Lord Jesus, True Jesus Church Otteri was dedicated to the Lord. True Jesus Church Pammal Centre continues to send workers to assist in the divine work there.

目前共有90位已登記的信徒，而教會方面也繼續面臨許多挑戰和試探。本會印度聯絡處差派長執和傳道牧養當地的教會，至今只有幾位信徒參加聚會。願主繼續保守他們的信心和重新興旺教會。

All in all, there are about 90 registered members. The church continues to go through a lot of challenges and temptations. True Jesus Church Coordination Board in India sends Ministers and Preachers to pastor the church there. At present there are only a handful attending church services. May the Lord Jesus preserve the faithful and once again prosper the church.
